On the 18th of December 2018, BAPS project member Toby Prike was officially conferred his PhD in psychology from Flinders University.

Toby was awarded his PhD for his thesis entitled "Was that just a Strange Coincidence or am I Psychic? Examining the Relationships Between Anomalistic Belief, Reasoning, and Cognitive Bias". Since completing his thesis, Toby has been working as a member of the BAPS project team, focusing on how insights from psychology, particularly in relation to decision making, can be better incorporated into agent-based models of migration.
